Intro: Indicted St. Louis County  Representative John Bowman returned to the Capitol Thursday with his powerful committe position still intact.

Description: I can't say anything right now, ok? Thank you.

Bowman currently sits on two House Committees. House Speaker Rod Jetton said Bowman would remain on the powerful House Budget Committee unless objections were raised by House Minority Leader Jeff Harris.

Actuality:  JET2.WAV
Run Time: 00:10
Description: Minority Leader Harris hasn't said a word to me about any of it. So, unless Harris has some reservations or problems... I mean, like I said the man is innocent until proven guilty. This is America.

Harris declined to comment about Bowman's continuing role on the committee which manages Missouri's $20 billion budget, saying Bowman is innocent until proven guilty.

Under Missouri Law, legislators are allowed to continue to hold office despite any pending litigation.
