Salva says he is a pro-life Democrat from a conservative district.

Salva says the abortion pill outlawed in the bill is different from the morning after pill.
But opposition came from critics of Planned Parenthood who said lawmakers are dragging abortion into every kind of legislation.

Chemical abortion would be banned in the state of Missouri if lawmakers decide to pass a health bill.
