Description: You know one of the things that I decided when I went to the Congress several years ago, as a former statewide elected official, is that I was not going to give a lot of advice to the Jefferson City people about how to do their job until I solved all the federal problems.

Legislators filed articles of impeachment against Gov. Jay Nixon following his announcement that Missouri would honor tax returns for gay couples.

Wrap: On Tuesday, April 22, U.S. Sen. Roy Blunt told Missouri House members that the federal government needs to
"re-think" Medicaid before considering expanding it.

Blunt said one of the main issues with relying on Medicaid is the continuous provisions to the Affordable Care Act.

Description: Well you know since the president has already changed the Affordable Care Act, just with his own executive determination, two dozen times already... I think it's hard to rely on anything in the Affordable Care Act.

Blunt said he thinks the president is postponing the reality of the Affordable Care Act until the next election because he knows it will not work.
